The 健康中心 is here to provide 资本 students a full range of medical 和 mental health services, respectfully serving the diverse needs of our campus community.

Life can come at you fast, especially as the dem和s of college build up. 资本’s singular, most important priority is the well-being of every student. Through an established partnership with the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, the 健康中心 is able to serve the behavioral 和 physical health needs of the community.
The dedicated clinical team provides individual 和 group mental health services 和 psychoeducational prevention to currently enrolled under研究生, 研究生, 专业学生.

Mental Health Counseling Services
Students who are enrolled in at least one 资本 course are eligible for unlimited, free counseling sessions during that semester. These services are available to all students, 包括 威尼斯人平台法学院, 三一路德神学院, 和 all 研究生 programs in addition to our under研究生 students. 中心提供个人, relational 和 group counseling services in addition to outreach programming 和 consultation.
Common reasons students seek counseling services include:

The 健康中心 provides services to all students 包括 short term counseling, 培训/车间, 单一会话咨询, consultations for individuals or groups, 和 referrals to community providers for more specialized or long-term care.

While all attempts are made to keep email mess年龄s confidential, the confidentiality of electronically transmitted communication cannot be guaranteed.
团体辅导服务
Students have the 能力 to participate in a structured group counseling session. A variety of groups have been created to directly address student concerns. Some groups are population 和/or issue specific, while others consist of skill building 和 experiential learning. A screening with a counseling staff member is typically required for participation. Most groups are 60 minutes long 和 consist of five to eight members.
医疗服务
资本 has developed a plan which allows 资本 students access to The Ohio State University's vast array of healthcare options, 包括 当天护理 和 紧急护理设施. This also allows easy connection to specialists in the OSU system.
Students have the option to self-schedule appointments or seek assistance from the 健康中心.
If you would like assistance in scheduling, please contact the CHW at 614-236-6114 during regular business hours. Dortheia佩里, administrative assistant in the CHW, is an access 和 navigation guide to any student needing assistance. She can assist with scheduling same-day or urgent care appointments 和 secure transportation via Uber Health for students who need it to get to their appointments.
Students are still welcome to schedule through their primary physicians or other urgent care/same-day facilities that they prefer.
